A lot has been posted about Nancy and her expectations when she arrives in Norman. The following stats may give a glimpse of what we might expect:

Her scoring average of 11.6 PPG is up about 1 point from last year (10.3).

Her rebounding is up 2 from 7.1 to 9.1 per game from last year.

Blocks are up 1 from 3.7 to 4.7 per game.

Her field goal shooting % has dropped from 50% to 47%.

She is shooting more from the 3 point line this year. Last year she shot 16 3 pointers and made 4 for a 25% average. This year, in 7 games, has already shot 10 BTA and made 5 for 50%. If she maintains this pace she will shoot approx. 50 3 pointers this year. Can she maintain that average? Time will tell but only 10 attempts is not enough to project the entire year.

But i was wrong to say she is on the outside to much...... She should average close to 20 but she rather sit on the outside and pass it in to Cate Reese. It would not surprise me if Cate was the leading scorer on that team. She may average a double double

Cate is averaging 19.5 ppg and 12.5 rpg. Really good stats for a sophomore.

The kid is really good.......Nancy could be around the same numbers, but she rather throw the ball into the post. I really blame the coach. The same thing was going on last year, but she would throw it down to Erica

Ten three point attempts means she is hanging outside too much?

Think about it, sk.

They are playing a team game. They won the state championship last year with the same game plan. The teams that just allowed their "best players in the state" to score as much as possible did not win the state championship.

Nancy is being used to not only have excellent numbers, but also to improve the quality of teammates play. Will it work as well this year as last year? That remains to be seen. The supporting player has not been as consistent - or as dependable as they saw last year. Reese should be averaging about 5 - 6 points more.

If i didn't watch her play as much as i have i would listen to that argument but by coming to know who she is as a player it's hard for me to hear that.

How is her foot speed? If she's fast/ quick she could be like a 6'9 wing type forward, that would be a nightmare match up...
