I specifically remember Raven Johnson laughing after screwing up on our court. Go back and watch. I think they know when to turn it on and off.
In her first press conference after she was hired, Jennie said she wants her teams to play with joy, or words to that effect. She said they are playing the game they love at the highest level and it should be fun. There are a lot of teams that don't play with joy. If you watch them, they play with anger. That anger seems to be what fuels them. Jennie's players sometimes laugh at their own mistakes, but they also smile and laugh when they celebrate each other's great plays. In a tight game, you might see an ironic smile after a mistake, but not the same reaction you would see in a blowout. The fact that they smile and laugh at their own mistakes in a blowout doesn't mean it's not all business to them or to Jennie.
