NCAA Sweet 16: #4 Seed OU vs #1 Seed South Carolina 4pm 3/28

I don't expect (but hope) us to be able to beat this team twice in one season on account of how well coached they are and how much talent they have but I certainly hope our girls play with pride grit and fortitude and don't let themselves get blown over to end their season. Let's go!!!

Got to rebound better. Outrebounded 15-7 in Q1…rebounding has been a strength all year but not so far today

Down ten, 13-23, after the first quarter. I think we all know where this is headed, unfortunately.

Just like muffet McGraw just said on tv, we get that you like to play fast but slow it down because it's clearly not working for you all right now and get the ball inside. Our only advantage and these type of games is Reagan beers and we just refuse to take advantage of it. And our defense just flat out sucks

Well we were out of this game within two minutes and I don't see it turning around. Down 19 at halftime. I just hope we can keep it at that distance and not let it get to one of those 40 point blowouts

Watching game… figured this would happen. Sc playing their usual game… TO’s… blown lay ups.

I told my brothers, 20 pt lead at half… close.

Hopefully we can hit some shots, stop them. 7 threes, by sc, they avg 6…

Blueprint should be get the ball to Beers early and often and we just don't seem to want to do that... Please stop turning the ball over, some of these toes South Carolina isn't even forcing we are just throwing the ball over people's heads like we haven't done this every single game all season long or something

Beers looks like she's standing around a lot and just watching stuff happen instead of trying to help us out and establish position down low or guard her opponents. That's why I think maybe next season we need to cut out the big slow center and get lengthy lean posts that can run the floor better. We clearly don't take advantage of the big centers that can score for us at a high percentage down low so why not try something different?

It is what it is…

Again we will be a top 25 team, mid to top sec.. make sweet 16 most years an occasional elight 8 depending on draw

I don't follow them at all but am I wrong that we essentially tried to make this game into a track meet against a team that is even better at track meets than we are? (I think I heard the announcers say we were like top 10ish in pace but theyre like top 4)

Well, that season was definitely not what I thought it would be. I can't help but say that I'm disappointed. I thought we would progress and improve upon last season but we kind of hit a plateau because we didn't get any portal additions. It is what it is and our program is what it is. Next season we could take a step backwards.
