Need a couple of really good Bigs for next year or we go backwards. A plus will be the maturity and growth of the many young players returning.
We lost, but it was a good season, can't complain.

SC has better players and is a better team.

That being said, every blemish and mistake looks bigger when you can’t or don’t make a shot. If we shoot the ball decently the game is a lot closer even if we don’t win. Taller kids that are more athletic requires mindless attention to blocking out

I thought the kids played hard. All and all congratulations on a good year.

I really hate when people bag on a really good coach. Dawn Staley coached 10 years at SC before their first elite eight. Jennie has this team going in the right direction. You want instant gratification go root for another team. We might take a step back next year but she is recruiting well and she’s recruiting to build a team with length and speed. If she retains the talent she’s getting this will be an elite 8 team before she has been here 10 years.

We arent as talented as the top 8 teams. We have a star in the making but shes true freshmen.

Of course we need to add some good players. but you dont think we are going to try?

Need a few more Super athletic girls. Of course 1 big would help.

Is she really recruiting well, though? Just being honest. She knew we needed a big, in a major way. What does her recruiting class this year not have? Bigs. Leelee could be very good, but she isn't an instant impact player like OU will need.

Jennie has a lot of work to do in the portal, or a step back is an understatement.

She is a very good coach, yes. I just hope she is prepared to do what it takes to get that top-flight big in the Portal.

She’s not a star in the making. She’s a good player Who is given CC treatment. It’s why we can’t get the offense flowing and some of you are extremely blind to it. We have 4 and 5 stars on the team who are being limited so we can force enough points for her to be FOY. If you don’t have a team, you don’t win. But sure, high volume shooters with bad efficiency is the plan. When we donate to the team money and time, we can complain about coaching and potentially losing our players. Which we will see in the next few days. Raegan was the best player on the team and the coaching staff screwed her and Peyton this year.

Do you think Jennie can get an athletic big or 2 who can score? Those cost big money, and I just don't think OU has that money.

Dawn Staley is a good coach and she apparently made good adjustments from the loss at OU. It didn't hurt that almost everything they put up fell in. But South Carolina did a great job of getting open for good shots.

We have a good coach and she has the ability to be even better. McGraw, the former Notre Dame coach had a number of very constructive point about our play. I sense that the most critical of Baranczyk are more interested in appearing profound rather than objective. It is never all positive or all negative.

Incoming freshman Lee looks like a solid inside player but we need another big from the portal. What could help most is a point guard. Chavez can be pretty good there but I think she would be better as a shooting guard especially if she improves her 3 point shooting. Vann has a pretty good game, paticularly mid range but I don't see her as one that impacts the whole team perfomance much. At times it seems that she is competing with Chavez as much as with our opponents. Too many times she is putting up impossible shots while others are open. If we instead of TCU had picked up Olivia Miles from the portal our team would have played a whole lot different. I think Murray can possibly replace Verhulst.

Video on bell suggests she will be really good imo. Haven’t seen anything on the other two

I think jennie is a good coach. Not perfect but who is. JMO, but i thought her biggest mistake was not starting stewart all year. I like williams but that is who i would have benched. Doesn’t mean i wouldn’t have played her some.

I am also in the camp of those on here that believe chavez should have played off the ball. I would have played peyton at point.

My most improved players on the team were vann and smith. My most underrated player was loftin.

Good year. I think jennie definitely has things going in the right direction

If smith would work on and improve her ball handling so she isn't such a liability when we have the ball she would be a star defensively.

I close my eyes when she has the ball. Steals don’t really matter when you give it right back. She muddy work on her left hand. That’s her whole issue. Put her right hand in an oven mitt and make her dribble guarded all summer. She is so athletic and could be dangerous if she learns to dribble.
