NDSU Highlight Video

Dang, they do the "hook-em" hand sign.

Must be "Hook-Em Bison."

Just one more reason to beat these guys.

From what I could see, the Bison's players are very athletic. Braun seems to be the key to their offense. He leads the team in scoring and in shooting from behind the arc.

If our players see the hook 'em sign, they may come out like a raging bull with fire in his eyes.

I can't figure out why we're supposed to be worried about their size?

They might be big for the Summit League, but in the Big 12 they're basically average. And at 6-foot-7, Braun might be tough in his league, but that's basically Cam Clark or any other 3 or 4 in the Big 12.

They shouldn't be taken lightly, obviously. It's a bunch of seniors that play well together that are more athletic than what you might think North Dakota State would be, but they aren't world-beaters.

I'm almost to the point I think we could shoot poorly (37-40 percent) and win.

Which Big XII doesn't win the Summit? That is the question I would ask every single person picking NDSU to win.

These are the guys that play for TCU:

Fields 6'9"
RAy 6'6"
Shepherd 6'10"
Anderson 5'11"
Price 6'6"
Williams 6'2"
Parrish 6'6"

Fields didn't play in the final game because he was hurt but he did in the first game.

This is NDSU starting lineup:
Bjorklund 6'8"
Braun 6'7"
Wright 6'7"
Alexandr 6'3"
Brown 6'4"

Aaberg 6'9"
Felt 6'3"
Kading 6'8"

Compared to OU:

Hield 6'4"
Cousins 6'4"
Woodard 6'0"
Clark 6'7"
Spangler 6'8"
Hornbeak 6'4"
Booker 6'4"
Neal 6'7"
Bennett 6'8"

NDSU is not any bigger than TCU and is smaller than many Big XII teams, especially Texas, Baylor and KU. I don't see any concerns with size. OU was the 5th best rebounding team in the Big XII. I will be shocked if OU gets out rebounded by NDSU.

Upsets are inherently illogical.

You are right about that! However, I just went and watched their highlight video from the Summit League Final and am even less scared of this game then I was before; and for the record I wasn't really worried. They def look athletic, but I think a part of that is their competition. Now our boys better come prepared to fight, but if we play out game, talent and depth will rule out...
