Here in McAlester, we started a Make A Difference Day project about 10 years ago which helps the elderly and handicapped with home repairs, yard work, and about anything home related. For the 2nd time in 7 years, we are up for a national award..A company will donate $10,000 to the charity of our choice if we receive the most votes..We have recently opened 2 different shelters here that could use the help..We are definitely the smallest community up for it, so I need some help...If you guys don't mind, head over to http://makeadifferenceday.com/cast-your-vote-make-a-difference-day-all-star-award/ and cast a vote for McAlester's Make A Difference Day project...Thanks.
