Good win. Sure love watching Cousins continue to gain confidence!

Agreed, when Cousin gets going it's fun to watch. Much needed win. Take care of Tech and get after it in Stillwater. If Cousins, Hield, and Clark are on we will be very tough to beat.

Cousins does so many things well now. I love his rebounding. He'll find space in the mid-range where he is a great shooter. When Heslip was on him today he got where ever he wanted to. Breaking their zone with our 3s opened up Cousins to dominate Heslip in man.

I agree with all the praise of Cousins... I truly believe that if he continues to progress he will be an All Big 12 type guy by his Senior year! I think he also has a chance to be in THE LEAGUE, much like THABO on the Thunder. He has stepped it up this year and really grown as a basketball player... I hope this offseason he continues to work on his defense, because he is by far our best guard defender and has a chance to be really good in that department.

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT IN NORMAN!

Also, I neglected to mention his rebounding abilities. Dude has some real hops... Did anyone else notice how high he got on that rebound where he was hacked. Not sure where in the game this occurred, but I remember saying "wow" to myself! Dudes head was nearly at the rim...

This is a part of his game I love. He crashes the boards and has a good eye for the ball. I want guys like that who can have off nights on offense, but still find ways to contribute. It also lets me know he is engaged and aware out there. The ball goes up he flies to spot. He'll get in there and grab board among big men. Those plays are why we were winning so many close games.

His step backs are pretty much unguardable and he was feeling them all game.

Funny after last year if you had to pick who would have broken out this year how many people would have taken Hornbeak over Cousins ? Lonnie can see talent.

Speaking of Jelon, he has a really nice game. 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and is definitely more and more comfortable out there.

Missed the game, but it looks like Cam had a real nice bounce back game.

Great win, so, so important to get these at home.

Yep. I would have definitely put money on Jelon. Last year I would cringe when Isaiah put up a shot, but this year, I expect it to be money. And as someone said on this thread, his step back is un-guardable.
