Since our colors are Crimson and Cream, I actually like the Cream colored uniforms that the team has worn a few times in the past. Those are sweet, and actually distinguish our actual colors from the straight-White that every team wears.

I still can't believe they changed the Paperclip on the helmets. I thought that one was sacred. I'll come around to the fonts, which are a little goofy, but the Paperclip will take me a LONG time.

I have made this point on the football boards repeatedly. Who would possibly want a player who was swayed by the fact that we wore gray (which has nothing whatsoever to do with OU) for a couple of games?

But then I feel the same way about the Jordan brand connection. It does no harm, I suppose, but I'd like to see OU (and all other schools, for that matter) not be in bed with companies like Nike. Let 'em make good products and we'll select the ones that work best for us, period.

The real reason for all the different uniforms is simply to line the pockets of Nike and other companies.
