What hurt her cause is that they have an overinflated sense of where they program has stood, in terms of the national level. I think OU really punctured their self-image with those two double-digit wins in the Pit when the Paris twins were freshmen and that senior class led OU to that undefeated run through the Big 12. But before those games, they thought they had a better program than OU.
