All three of these women have been assistant coaches and it is clear Jennie is modernizing our basketball staff. Also Joe C is realizing that investment in additional quality staff is needed for OU to be competitive. Better days ahead.

What does a director of player personnel do?

She was an assistant coach at Drake after playing at Notre Dame. So my guess is she will have normal assistant coach duties, player development, x&o coaching, scout opponents, game planning, in bounds plays etc. Everything the 3 full assistant coaches do except she can’t do off campus recruiting.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that title is simply a way of getting around the limits on number of assistant coaches allowed.

I think the the director of player personnel and all non-coach designated personnel are prohibited from on court coaching or on field coaching.

Wright played for Notre Dame, Miller went to Liberty and is from Texas, Gage has been on the staff at both Iowa and Oklahoma St, she’s from Tulsa...
