I find the obsession with branding in college sports (I'm speaking of the collective culture, not anyone on this board) as tedious and uninteresting as the persistent focus on salaries in the pros. I mean, if recruits are happy that we're a Jordan program, then yay, I guess, but I wish young athletes didn't give two cents about such matters (including "alternate uniforms"). It's been covered ad nauseum on the various Sooner Sports football programs, and I just can't be bothered to care.
Now, will someone step over here and help Grandpa down from his soapbox? I seem to have misplaced my cane.
