It was good to see them not panic when the game was tight at the end. Seems like the past few seasons they would have jacked up an unnecessary 3 when it got close. This time they just ran their offense. Solid win to start the season.

Just finished the game. Sloppy as hell and gawd awful officiating. Can't believe how many pushes and flops those guys got away with.

I live in Memphis and the stripes were all U of M grads ( just kidding) The way they called the game you would think they were home town boys.

I don't think that was OU's best game, I know it was the first, on the road but boy was the ball handling sloppy.

It's always hard when your first game is on the road. You don't usually win close road games so I will take it. Glad they fought through, but it seems like we've got somethings to improve on. We really let them stay in this game with FTs.

What I liked about the game is it seems Heild was working hard on his dribble drives to the basket. Hopefully, we seem him posting up on smaller guards too. I definitely see the need for AK to get healthy......with his size this team is as good as any in the league.

Lots of truths here.
