Last night Kelsey Plum of the University of Washington scored 27 points in 13 minutes of the first half to blow by Greiner for #2 on the all time Div I scoring list. She had 35 points for the game.

You may remember that as a sophomore Plum lit up OU for 44 points in a game won by the Sooners.

Plum now has 3315 career points, 78 points behind Jackie Stiles for the #1 spot. Barring injury she is virtually guaranteed to become #1 with 2 regular season games and at least two post season games remaining.

I also remember her scoring 30 as a junior in Seattle with a team that we beat 71-68, but which went to the Final Four. What I particularly remembered about that game was that we trailed 58-52 with 4:55 left on the road. In the next 2:24, Maddie, Gabbi, and Peyton hit threes, and KK hit a short jumper. TT hit two free throws with 1:47. Peyton got a steal, and Maddie hit a layup, and it was Washington by a point.

Plum missed a jumper, and TT made a layup, and OU led 69-68 with 12 seconds left.

Plum tried to drive for the go-ahead layup, but Maddie blocked it. Maddie rebounded, and Osahor fouled her. Maddie hit both free throws, and we won 71-68 in Seattle against a Final Four team.

And, yes, Plum and Osahor can play.

Tonight Baylor @ Texas will be a big game... I won't be upset if Texas wins this game, if that were to happen there's a chance OU could finish tied for 2nd place with Baylor if we win @KSU and not over look TCU, we could beat Baylor in Norman...

Last night Plum scored 57 points to become the leading woman Div I scorer, surpassing Jackie Stiles. She needed 53 going into the game. Quite a senior night for the young lady.

It's nice that she was able to set that record before her home fans.
