Not OU related

Texas is in on just about every top 10 kid in this class, if Uconn joins the big 12 they could be the one school to challenge them, if they can sign any of theses kids...
 
Speaking of Texas, this is their roster for this fall:

Jordan Hosey F 6-1 SO.
Lashann Higgs G 5-9 SO.
Brooke McCarty G 5-4 SO.
Olamide Aborowa F 6-3 SO.
Brianna Taylor G 5-9 SR.
Tasia Foman G 5-4 JR.
Ariel Atkins G 5-11 JR.
Khaléann Caron-Goudreau SO 6-4 Rs.
Sara Hattis F 6-4 SR.
Diani Akigbogun So 6-1 SO.
Kelsey Lang C 6-5 SR.
Joyner Holmes F 6-3 FR.
Alecia Sutton PG 5-8 FR.
Jada Underwood W 6-0 FR.

McCarty and Atkins are both good BTA. They have some good athletes who can get to the rim with a good mid-range game but it appears to me their biggest need for 2017 might be outside shooting as well as a center as Lang is a senior. They have Prince coming in 2018 but they need another center.

I believe Texas will take a hit in the 2017 class when we are talking about top recruits. Travis Mays was a HUGE reason the kids were going to Texas. From what I was told, this is the reason Richards chose to go to Baylor. Same thing about Collier and I'm hearing now that Chrystyn Williams is a heavy Baylor lean.

Boothe and Walkers connection to Texas was also through Mays, especially Boothe. I think Baylor will sit on top of the Big 12 for at least another 3 to 4 years.

Yes, they will be loaded with splinters from riding the bench.

Kim does not like playing reserves. She normally keeps starters in even in run away games. So, several of these players will simply be watching the action from the bench. That is not much fun.

I think Williams will pick Baylor aswell, if she was going to Uconn I'm sure she would have picked them by now
 
Reports indicate that Washinton has offered an assistant's job to Sabrina Ionescu's HS/AAU coach.
 
That's why you see Washington all of a sudden on Sabrina's list .......and they are on Westbrook's list. That's a package deal

Washington also has a good chance of getting Natalie Romeo. She will decide any day now between Washington and Oregon St.

Honestly, that doesn't make a lot of sense. Richards committed to Baylor on March 20. Travis wasn't announced as the new SMU head coach until April 7.

Collier decommitted from Texas about one year ago, and she did not attend the Texas summer camp or any Texas games in Austin; so, doesn't appear to have anything to do with Travis Mays as he barely left Texas like 6 weeks ago.

I do agree that Travis was the initial reason Rellah Boothe showed interest in Texas; but, all indications are that she is still going to visit Texas officially. And, Walker still plans to visit officially as well. Might not sign either of them, but Coach Aston is an elite recruiter; she will sign another banner class for 2017.

When I interviewed Richards after she committed Baylor.....she told me then that one of her reasons for not going to Texas was because Mays would not be there much longer. Richards said that she and her family would always talk to Mays and he said to "choose your school because you are happy with the head coach, because assistants and players come and go." He also told them that he was interviewing for jobs every year.

Collier is more linked to George but her dad before he passed also spoked to Travis quite often. One thing I do is ask these type of questions and the reason I do is because if I am trying to help a kid or refer a kid to a college.....I want it to be a good fit and need to know everything about both sides to make this happen.

Lexi Gordon and Richards were 2 kids that I know she really wanted and now she will settle for the next tier. Walker was a Notre dame lean in the beginning but now I'm hearing that she is leaning to UCONN. Boothe is all Travis from the private school that she is attending now her head coach now was hand picked by him also. I've talked to Travis about this whole situation and he did say he will be recruiting Boothe to SMU. We will wait and see who Texas will bring in.

Patterson may have been headed there but I'm hearing that Texas made a mistake and stopped recruiting her and her family isn't happy about that or the fact how the guards are used. Some say that Patterson is down to Oklahoma, UCLA, and Texas A&M. She has a soft spot in her heart for Texas though being they offered her while she was in the 7th grade.
