Not sure if they'll hang on, but it's fun to see Stotts' Blazers doing well

Terry Stotts was at OU the same time I was (fall '76 to spring of '80). I got to know him some during my last semester of college. I thought he was a really good guy and a solid OU basketball player during his career.

I was hoping he'd get the OU job at the time the job was open (and before Stotts got the job in Portland and Kruger became a serious candidate). But, it's been fun during the NBA postseason to see his rebuilt club hanging so tough against the defending NBA champs.

his team is doing an outstanding job. he's really done great at Portland.

He has become a great coach in a small market. I have never heard any announcer mention that he played at OU

I heard his Oklahoma playing days mentioned during Game 3. Great guy, and a really good coach.

It's amazing that team even made the playoffs with those frontcourt players. After Aldridge, Batum and R. Lopez bolted, I figured 30 wins was their ceiling this season. Golden State is likely going to close them out in 5, but Coach Stotts certainly squeezed every bit of talent out of that team.

Would be great if he's ready to come back to OU when Kruger retires.
