But, the officials can stop the guy right after a shot to check if the player's foot was on the line as an official did it tonight after one of Clark's 3 pointers. Good to know I wasn't crazy for thinking they could stop the clock at any time to check a shot.
 
That was the first thing that crossed my mind when the official blew his whistle immediately after Cam's shot. Pretty obvious that the baseline official in the Neb game had no doubt. Too bad our guys didn't realize it.
 
I think that is the first time i have seen that. If i'm not mistaken they usually review a shot during the next timeout. Or maybe I'm crazy and am thinking of the NBA.

They checked it at the end of the game so they weren't 100% positive.

I know the NBA does this. Not sure about college. I think I can remember seeing immediate stoppages, but I also remember waiting until the next dead ball.
