I had been receiving some questions regarding Cameron Clark's arrival date on campus. He is slated to be in Norman in mid July. Also heard that he has worked hard this summer with his father and has added some muscle to his frame which is good news for this sooner basketball team.

why is he waiting till mid july? is that normal? i figure for a kid that will be a freshman, and seeing how important of a role he will have, dont we want him taking summer classes to lighten the load during the season?

Thanks for the update Greg. I am really excited for Cam. He comes in with a Big 12 ready body and skills. If he is mentally ready, he can be a huge impact player immediately. I think it is hard to predict what freshman will do because some people take time for their maturity to catch up to their body. From what I hear Cam seems to be mentally ready, but honestly you just never know. If he comes in ready to work and find his role in the system he could be pretty special from the get go.
