An OKC high school has stopped using Redskins as its mascot.

Anyone know why this is so ironic in OKLAHOMA (the all caps is a clue).

Well done. Your Oklahoma history teacher would be proud. I find it ironic that people in a state named after red people would find redskins to not be PC.

Do you honestly think if the state was named Red People by whites who forced the five tribes to settle there instead of Oklahoma the name wouldn't have been changed long ago? Apples & oranges.
