The state of Oklahoma is trending up and up. Minus bigmen for the future. OU could load up on the next few classes of OK kids.

Team Griffin winning u16 Peach Jam was huge.

The think I love about Kruger is he brings these kids in as 9-10th graders before the blow up nationally. Doesnt mean we always get them but helps when we want them for sure.

Ill try to keep this thread updated with Oklahoma Only Kids for future reference.

My grandson tried out for Team Griffin a year ago. He's just 14 now so it was a younger group. Needless to say he didn't make it although he did make it through one of the cuts.
Those guys are good.

Trae Young also sponsors some AAU teams: Trae Young Elite. I know the u10 (2027) team is nationally ranked. They used to be called the Chaos.... and they're back to calling themselves the Chaos for some reason. Maybe Trae dropped support.

Always felt like if a school could land all of the best players in Oklahoma they would consistently be a tournament team and in some years be a top 20 team and even, occasionally, be a real threat for a Final Four. Just look at some of the top talent in the last 10 years, producing NBA players - Shake Milton, Trae Young, Josh Richardson, Blake Griffin, Alonzo Trier, Terrance Ferguson, etc....This is just off the top of my head - I am missing several players for sure.

Totally agree.....I remember the Kelenna Azuibuke (Kentucky), Sheldon Williams (Duke), Deangelo Alexander OU, Charlotte), Marquis Hayden (K-State), and, Kevin Bookout (OU) class....Wowza!!
