OSUFan- what was the level of competition in Spain? I know Darryl Middleton who played for Baylor in the early 80s played for the Spanish all-star team. He's upper 40s. He was a great player at Baylor but you would expect in his late 40s he has lost a step.

Who does OSU play in the secret scrimmages? Any intel leaking on how they did? They are an interesting team- I think the top 3 is potentially better than anyone and that could be enough to be great.

I would be surprised if Soucek is effective from what I have seen but I thought Withey would be terrible so I don't know anything.

Ford described the competition in Spain as good mid major talent. There's been a lot of hype coming out of practice. Apparently Marcus Smart is the best player to ever step foot on campus, Nash looks more comfortable and laid back, Brown can really shoot the ball now (think he was 12 for 18 from 3 in spain, 65% overall).

Seriously? That seems like a stretch to me. I don't mean to insult Smart but I have seen some pretty impressive basketball players at OSU over the last 25 years.

A guy with a girl's name. When I was born, it still was 60/40 girl/guy name, but quickly trended 100% girl after that. I think my dad wanted me to get picked on to make sure I was tough- Johnny Cash philosophy...

When I saw the 60/40 in your post, I just new you were going to say that you were 60% male, 40% female.
