Marquette coach Buzz Williams, rumored to be Oklahoma athletic director Joe Castiglione's top candidate for the Sooners' men's basketball vacancy, might still be in the mix, but a buyout worth more than $3 million is a stumbling block, according to sources.

Another source said Marquette is negotiating to increase Williams' salary to as much as $2.4 million a year, which would force OU to offer a substantial contract.
