This one took a bit more research than the OU media guide, but I finally found this little nugget: the last time OU finished last in the conference (Big 8 or Big 12) was in 1969. OU finished 7-19 overall and 3-11 in the Big 8. That's not counting whatever happened after the fact with the 2009-10 team and its forfeits. I'm just talking about on-the-court results.
As for the in-state products who scored at least 1,000 points, here's the list (before this season):
1. Wayman Tisdale, 2,661.
2. Jeff Webster, 2,281 (note: Buddy is 2nd all-time at OU).
3. Darryl Kennedy, 2,097.
4. Stacey King, 2,008.
5. Ryan Minor, 1,946.
6. Alvan Adams, 1,707.
7. Jordan Woodard, 1,440.
8. Terry Evans, 1,361.
9. Blake Griffin, 1,278.
10. Bobby Jack, 1,219.
