was a great time to be a Sooner hoops fan. great times at the LNC. unreal.

So much this. I may have only been 11 for that 88 season, but it was magical and I remember so many games... I get sad when I hear quotes about how the LNC was loud for the recent ISU game. The LNC used to rock! Nobody complained about the orange seats back then bc by conference time you could hardly see an empty one!

As a long time season ticket holder and OU grad I have had the good fortune to see every player on the list play many times with the exception of Joe King and Les Lane. Les is truly one of the all time greats at OU. I've enjoyed watching a lot of great Sooners. It has been fun and frustrating. Especially frustrating in 1988 despite it being perhaps the best season in OU history.
