Biggest (figuratively) cheerleader we've ever hard. Love to watch his reactions when things go well on the bench. Always jumping up, cheering, seems proud of his teammates and being a Sooner.

You can tell not playing bothers him but he's making the best of it. He really seems to like Oklahoma and his teammates.

Can't wait to watch him play next year.

i'm glad you brought this up. i'm not taking any titles away from big baby food. but osby is a hoot to watch. always up, moving, cheering, communicating and so in to the games. at one point before cj's two foul attempts, i believe he was talking down to one of the managers betting or telling him cj would make both of them. he proceeded to go crazy when cj did. he seems like the best teammate ever, so positive and entertaining, and a very funny guy to be around. it's refreshing after the scowls we've seen over the last year.

I noticed this with Osby as well as the rest of the guys on the bench...each guy seems to be invested in the success of the other...that is a fun thing to watch and very hard to get at this level across the board...you always see a couple of guys that never play that are really pumped, but i got a sense that is how all of them are...

BTW...Ryan Randolph??? Where is this guy now? I know he is just a walk on and never a threat to earn PT, but he is a good kid and was surprised i didnt see him on the sideline last night (unless i totally missed him)...

Randolph quit the team to focus on his studies, plus I believe he had mono.

For those who saw Osby at the open practice for students, who would you compare him to?

Joey Graham.

Very athletic, strong, can shoot, can put it on the floor... not really a 3, not really a 4. Also both were D-1 transfers.

Graham is listed at 6'7'' 230, Osby is 6'8'' 225.

I know this much, Cade speaks very highly of Osby. He's bummed he isn't going to get to play with him.

With Osby and Goff, OU will instantly upgrade the frontcourt. I can't wait to see how much that opens it up for Newell, Cam and Pledger to get more open looks on the outside.

Next year I think OU can battle OSU and Baylor for 3rd in the Big XII.

Glad to hear that about Romero. I remember seeing him acting like the consumate teammate in the videos that Houck put out during the summer.

I hope he is as good on the court as he appears to be off of it.

The original post must be from someone who hasn't watched OU basketball long.

Oleg and Yosef were the very definition of player cheerleaders.

Osby, goff, Thompson, fitzgeralg, and washignton might actually be a strong front court. If Cam, Pledger, TJ, Newell and a pg to be determined work out OU could be pretty good next season.
