After going a combined 1-for-12 from 3-point range in two NCAA Tournament games the last two seasons, junior guard Buddy Hield connected on 3 treys tonight on 11 attempts (.273) en route to 15 points. The Big 12 Player of the Year added 4 rebounds and 2 assists in his first NCAA Tourney win.

Buddy was only 6-of-16 (.375) tonight on FGs. Zero free throw attempts. It would really improve the Sooner's chances in the upcoming games if Buddy would heat up a bit. (Captain Obvious)
