Did something happen to Odomes? He didn't have many minutes. McGusty just get his time?

No mcgusty late surprised me. He looked great today, as did james late in the 2nd half.

Odomes got into early foul trouble. I think he had two fouls in the first three or four minutes. He never got untracked after that.

I'm rewatching the second half because I only was able to see bits and pieces of it... A couple of things I see as positives as I'm reflecting on this team thus far:
1. OUr Defense can be suffocating at times
2. Very encouraged by OUr ball movement overall, although, it's clear the comebacks started because we stopped moving the ball.
3. I think OUr frosh are good now and can be great
4. I'm a really big fan of Odomes game.
5. We need to learn how to put a game away
6. Rebounding will be an adventure
7. Think this will be a tourney team if we can figure out number 5

Fixing #6 should help #5

One thing would help: Stop guarding players from 6-8+ feet away.
 
Would be interested to see the second half rebounding stats. If they're out there and available.

Edit: It was a 27-16 edge for Clemson. Actually thought it would be more lopsided than that.
 
I think some of the OU guys need to hit the weight room more often. A lot of those were long rebounds but still Clemson was much quicker to the ball.

Quiet game from Odomes. I have been impressed with him though. He doesn't seem to have much of a shot outside the paint, but he's great at getting inside and finishing. Slasher-scorer who can dish it too. I think he continues to grow tremendously. Remember how lost he looked last year in his small minutes at the end of games out of reach? Come a long way

Agreed. Big jump for him this year. And boy his defense is something I'm excited about as well!
