OU is following Harris

While this article lists her as 5'8", I think she is closer to 5'10" to 5'11".

I don't think you can rely on any listed heights. I have seen players listed at 5'8" that are 5'5" and I have seen players listed at 5'9" that are 5'11". Until you see them in person, you never know a recruits true height.

Yep, we have seen a lot of fabricated heights, no doubt.

Here's a few write up on Harris. She's prolly round 5'9 1/2'

Tyasha Harris – 5-10 - 2016 - Best Choice United Ind.

Describing Harris’ game is not very difficult. She does everything well. Her strong frame allows her to penetrate with authority while her ball handling takes her where she wants to go. Her three ball range forces teams to walk up on her. Add a picture perfect pull up to her arsenal and you have a pretty complete player. Defensively she has outstanding instincts and gets her hands on many passes. She has Big-10 and Pac-12 schools knocking on her door.

WHO’S YOUR HOOSIER STAR

Last summer a class of 2015 point guard from the Hoosier state turned heads at EBA Super 64 Camp and, although she was already committed to a major Division I program, Notre Dame, Ali Patberg of Indianapolis, Ind., shined bright at the EBA event. This year another Hoosier state point guard, Tyasha Harris of Indianapolis, Ind., a 2016 prospect, make a very similar impact. Harris is an electric guard who plays the game with pace and poise. She has the ability to make the home run play but knows how to keep the game simple and make the right plays as well. She was effective this weekend from start to finish and her ability to make plays on offense was as good as her ability to make plays on defense. Harris, who ProspectsNation.com currently has ranked as the No. 8 point guard in the country, showed that she was very worthy of that position, if not higher, this weekend.

Tyasha Harris (Indianapolis, Ind.), Best Choice – 2016

Harris lived up to the buzz that surrounded her entering the weekend. At 5-8 she has terrific size for a lead guard, which allows her to score in the lane over smaller guards. Her ability to change direction and speed with the ball in her hands allow her shake defenders at will. She is able to score in the lane consistently as a result of this elite court savvy. However, the most surprising part of Harris’ game is on the defensive end. Her quick hands allow her to get deflections and steals. She is proving to be one of the best transition finishers in her class nationally. Harris is firmly planted as an ELITE 60 watch list prospect in the class of 2016. Keep a close eye on Harris as she plays this spring and summer. She could become one of the most hotly recruited point guards in the nation.
