OU-Kansas Stats/Notes/Quotes/Highlights

Self could take a lesson in class from Lon.

I am not sure what you are referring to. In past seasons, OU donors that had access to the LNC "courtside club" had the opportunity to view the postgame press conferences after each home game. I had the opportunity to observe Bill Self's postgame news conference on multiple occasions, and he always came across as a classy person; one that gave credit to the effort and talents of the opponent.

Alas, I miss those days, as OU no longer opens the courtside club after the end of games. It was often interesting to watch those press conferences, and to get a glimpse of the personalities of the various coaches.

****

As a side note, the one coach who sometimes came across as NOT classy, was Kim Mulkey after a Baylor women's loss at the LNC.

Self is a really good basketball coach and I think he handles himself well.

I guess the fact that hes basically saying Kansas played bad and giving ou no credit.I wasn't saying on the court. Bill is a little full of himself at times.

Bill usually always passes out credit, I think he was upset at his players a bit but don't think it was a slam at OU at all.

He's always been complementary of opponents players and coaches.
