a tough guy inside who does all the unheralded things you need to move forward as a team. Kind of a David Johnson type with better outside shooting. Spangler served as that player a few years back but he was also talented.

Osetkowski is actually a pretty decent shooter but the strength of his game is all the other stuff he does that you dont find on the stat sheet - blocking out, diving for the ball, playing thug if necessary, having an attitude. He's a glue guy. He pulls your other more skilled players together.

but for the love of God...NO WHITE CORN ROWS...please!

We had him just a few years ago. His name was Spangler.

Osetkowski is about 6'7" and is really talented. He's not just a no-talent scrappy whatever. The guy can play. Of course he'd be great to have. Really good players are. Spangler was a similar guy but Spangler may have been better defensively. Osetkowski is considerably better offensively.

He also has a big frame. He does not have a lanky basketball ball frame. He has s built more like a football player. You can’t push him around.

Lon has got to get the transfer pipeline going again. It's a way for programs like OU to pick up really good players. When Lon first got here he was regularly adding transfers, and they were all really damn good.

I thought the same thing about the corn rows until I saw what his hair looked like not in corn rows. Way worse
