It's not like this team is going to the NCAA tournament this year anyway, so just get it over with and it won't affect recruiting.

USC had a more flagrant violation regarding an agent that already got them on probation and that's basically all they did- except they did reduce scholarships by one.

They did on basketball and didn't on football. That's why they only lost one scholarship and one year post season ban in basketball, and got killed in football.
