Surprised by no blocks on either side, I thought I saw a couple swatted.

8 turnovers, 14 steals

Overall, numbers seem really good, other than what felt like New Zealand shooting 85% in the first quarter

Remarkably consistent scoring per quarter with lineups in and out

Anyone know if Dolittle is hurt? 9 mins one shot . (edit: see he is banged up on other thread)

Jamuni and Lattin definitely both had at least one block. Blocks are often the one stat not kept in games like these.

There were a few blocks, but the scorer did not record any.
Passing and Defense need major improvement. Trae is our best defender and best scorer.

I agree about the defense. I'm curious about what you saw in our passing I must have missed? Eight turnovers in a fast-paced game is pretty darned good.

I'd take 8 TOs per game all season and be happy. D always takes time. One person can play offense (preferably not). Takes all 5 working together to play defense. We got better as the game went along.

Yes, the defense was much better in the second half.

Agreed. Compared to last year they looked like Harvard.

I was watching to see how the handles on our wings have improved or not. James had some nice in traffic control. Trae and Shepherd have great handles. If James and McGusty have improved then watch out. It's imperative for their driving threat.
