I realize not all offers are created equal. But I often look at verbalcommits.com which does a decent job of keeping up with offers for everybody. They say we have offered like 7 or so point guards for '17. Again, I realize that offers go out and are rescinded, but there have been a few PG offers from OU in the last few months. It is good that Kruger doesn't have all his eggs in one basket, but sure makes you wonder about Young.

I think it means PG is an enormous priority for this next class and that's all it means. The comparison to our previous coach is fair and accurate.

Q Green from Philadelphia : 5-11 155# means he is 5-10. He is virtually the same size and has the same skill set as T Young. I watched he and Young playing in EYBL videos in Brooklyn. Their size and similarities are undeniable. It is like they had the same trainers and coaches.

I have no idea what, if anything, offering a point guard like Green means to the possibility of signing Trae Young? I think we all want to see Trae in an OU uniform next season. But, wishing and hanging onto every little tidbit of hope he'll sign with OU over the schools who want him just as much as we do, is no guarantee he'll be a Sooner in the end.

If Green wants to come to OU, I say take him and let the chips fall where they may. After watching the highlight video of this kid, we could certainly do worse. I, for one, would be very happy if Quade Green wants to be a Sooner.

2 pgs won't hurt anything in next year's class.. Shoot I know both of them are small, but they could possibly play next to each other at times.

I agree especially if the kids that are offered are high character. Even if a good kid commits, you probably still need to continue to do some contingency recruiting.

Absolutely! We know from experience it's never a good idea to go into a season with only one player who can run our offense.

Maybe they see Young as a 2 guard instead of PG? Or maybe one of these other offers is more of a 2 with Young at the PG spot?

young is so good that if our 1 and 2 guards were also very short around 5'11.. i would def still sign Trae and just start all 3 of them.

I saw him play live a couple of times. Very good floor leader. Plays for Neuman Goretti in the Philthy catholic league. Plays against top flight teams in the city, state and country.

I think they have won the catholic league and state title every year he has been there. They are a state power team.

Since he is from Philadelphia, it is interesting that Villanova is not on the list.
