We're really making progress. Heavy sarcasm. This team lacks talent. We would finish 3rd in SFAs conference. We can't survive in the big12. Headed for a battle for the basement once conference play starts. At least we'll finish ahead of tcu.

SFA outplayed us in every facet for most of the 2nd half. We battled but we still have some serious offensive issues. Not having a real PG hurts this team, bottom line.

Long season ahead after this loss....but it was going to be whether or not we won tonight. I watched this entire game and went to the ORU game. OU basketball is pretty much on the level of a southland team. I think we are pretty even with ORU and SFA in talent, coaching, effort, etc. OU didnt play bad tonight.....we played our normal game.
Decent defense, poor shooting, decent free throw shooting but not aggressive enough to get there, out of control offensively in transition, slow to get back on defense, and way too many turnovers.

M'Baye has really not lived up to the hype.
His line tonight: 22 mins, 3 points (only took 2 shots), 4 rebounds, 3 turnovers.

Why do you keep putting M'Baye out there? Based on the last couple of games, both Fitz and Cam have out played him. M'Baye may be the softest OU player I've seen in 20 years.

That is a bit part of it. We are lost on offense, and that blame goes to LK.

OU did not play particularly bad in some areas. But they were awful in transition and bad on offense in general for the most part. There's no way OU played their best tonight. SFA was apart of that they were real tough on defense. But missing the wide open transition shots was tough for OU and the big difference really. OU's a really young team with Hornbeak, Hield, and Cousins so this team has a higher ceiling than some think tonight. But fact is these 3 are 2 guards. And we need a PG and we need some better post presence than we had tonight. M'Baye has been a huge disappointment. He basically has no game in the half court. He's got no real post game and he's not that good at handling the ball so he can't really drive the ball. He's similar to Cam Clark but not even as skilled as he is.

to me this loss is on coaching. What was the game plan for this game? there was no game plan for this game... they do the same thing each and every game. why wait until you are down 11 to start going inside where your advantage was? Why wait until you are down 11 to start giving number 4 space so he doesn't blow pass? I don't want to hear "we need to learn to keep guys in front of us". well when you see it's not working you should adjust the way you are playing. this team does wayyyyy to much passing around the perimeter instead of calling plays. the 4 and 5 positions spend wayyy to much time behind the 3 point line instead of calling plays for them around the paint.

I'm not saying he is a poor coach but for me he is doing a poor job with this team right now.
