The last time we played the Horns Aaryn scored 37 points and we still lost. I sure hope I'm wrong but I doubt if the other players can step up their game enough to offset the loss of Aaryn.

I move Morgan to the 2 and start Carter. Kornet stays at the 3. Campbell and Griffin.

Sherri isn't moving away from a 4-guard line-up no matter what -- even if Texas is bigger, stronger, taller, longer and more athletic than we are, particularly with their bigs.

Well at lest now if we lose the rest of our remaining games and Aaryn is held out Sherri can say she was without her best player.

I can't begin to assess what the loss of Vegas means. You would like to think that someone will come out of her shadow, and that she will become Wally Pipp. That isn't all that likely, but we have made some runs with Morgan and Vegas on the bench recently.

I like the idea of moving Morgan to the two. I'm not sure whether I would put Edwards at the point or Carter. I wonder what would happen if we used one of these lineups:
Griffin
Campbell
Kornet or Wyatt
Hook
Carter

We kind of need the firepower of Hook and another three-point shooter on the floor.

I think there were some rule changes proposed for football but I never heard that they applied to basketball. I think it just depends on when a doctor releases a player to play.

Aaryn is our most athletic player so without her I would be surprised if we even stay close, but Sherri usually gets her team to play inspired when nobody gives them a chance.

I think we need Carter's driving scoring punch more than three outside shooters. Although, with Texas' line-up Wyatt, Kornet and Morgan might be better -- if Morgan is going to shoot the dang ball more than 3 times tonight from outside.

I don't know about rule changes, but I know we use the 'concussion test'. I still remember when Eduardo was knocked out in a similar situation against Michigan State and he subsequently passed the concussion test and returned to the game.
