**********OU-Tulsa Game Thread**********

Would be nice if Bennett could assert himself. Has hands like a player from last year. I wonder who that would be.

Woodard fouls a 3 point attempt.Turns into a 5 point play for Tulsa. Lead at 9 now. Under 2 left. 1:47 and Woodard at the line shooting 2. Makes 1 of 2. Lead at 10.

That was almost more than NBA continuation but I'll take it. :woot

1:01 left and TU at the line and makes shot. Lead a 7 under 1 minute.

Did Tubbs just say something about "50 and sag"? Now you young guys know what's coming! :D

Good God our defense is bad. And let's make these FTs please. Not shooting them well.

Woodard misses first and makes second. 8 point lead. TU going to the line.
Lead now at 6. 35 seconds left w/ball.

Hield makes both free throws. Up by 8. TU scores. Hield back to the free throw line w/31 seconds. Misses first but makes second. Lead stands at 7. 98 -91.

I like that OU went with some soft full court pressure there.

Turnover by TU. 1 of two free throws made by OU. OU back at the line and makes both. Up by 10. 101 to 91. Close to 80 free throws taken by both teams. Game over 101-91. Woodard w/24 points and 8 assists.

OU wins 101-91.
UGLY win, but I'll take it. Especially without. Hornbeak and Spangler.

Now come on get this defense together... We have regressed since last year big time there.

Spectating is not the best quality to have on defense.

Frustrating game to watch. Every time the game should have been over, Tulsa made a bunch of shots, and we made mistakes. This was a good game for Jordan, until he fouled on that three-point shot/five point play.

It seemed that Tulsa got what they wanted on offense. We never really took the game away from them. With their record, I didn't expect the athletes that I saw.

I am surprised they have been so poor. They have some good pieces. I'm not sold on Manning.
