Good to get this one and will be good to get another one tomorrow.
 
Nicely done. A 10 point win on a neutral court against a top 25 team when you shot poorly and had major foul trouble in the first half.
 
Ok...What happened? We were down 5 and I had some work roll in and I come back and we win by 10!
 
This win will help a ton in March. They may be the best non conference team we'll play. Now on to Butler(another solid team)

Exactly this. I don't think we played our best, but we got over it and pulled this win out anyway. That's a good UCLA team we just beat on a neutral court.

Just a real solid performance late in this one. Buddy went on a 10-0 run by himself and we gained control after that point.

That will do it! Nice to see him do well in front of family. At least I assume they were there.

That's a huge win for the RPI, and that Creighton loss AT Creighton may not really hurt too much if they have a good year. A win over Butler would be an RPI boost too. It goes to show this team has a high ceiling. It also shows how erratic this team can be relying upon the perimeter so much. We really need to get more offensive production from our bigs and in the paint. But I'll take a 10 point win over UCLA any day of the week.
 
Great win. I have a feeling that this team is going to frustrate the hell out of me alot this season (once again), but as long as they win, I can deal with it.:ez-roll:

Seriously, I saw a team that played much better defense in the 2nd half and made a few plays on offense down the stretch. Their offense against the zone in the last 8 minutes was very pretty basketball for the most part.

We will be better athletically than the Butler tomorrow, so we will need to smart with the ball and rebound.

We have to make shots tomorrow, UCLA made a ton of mistakes today that Butler won't but if we can shoot well and take care of the ball we have a real chance to make it into the finals.
 
The shooting numbers were ugly but they were also bad in the Butler/UNC game. Might have something to do with the court and being in the Bahamas lol.
