I think it's more of a matter of matchups. How did TCU beat Iowa State when they couldn't beat OU? What did they do to beat Iowa State? What did West Virginia do in Ames to beat Iowa State?
We seemed to play a style that fit right into what they were doing, as well as what they wanted us to do. They can guard us if we try the short-range game. We hit our first two threes and began to back off, looking for ways to get short-range jumpers and layups. We often passed up wide open threes.
I think we have to hit threes in order to open up the interior. If we try to go inside when it isn't open, we simply take bad shots and turn it over. We have to take what is there. We are a good three-point shooting team when we relax. But, we have to do it in rhythm.
