Minnesota is 4-2 with losses to UConn and Jacksonville…best wins are vs Arizona St and Syracuse.

Strong balanced first quarter for OU. We are up 27-14. Minnesota with 7 turnovers to only 2 for OU

OU with first 6 points of Q2. Now 33-14 as Minnesota forced to call timeout.

We are up 41-30 at half. We had the lead up to 38-14 before Minnesota went on a run to get back in the game.

52-44 lead at the under 5 minute timeout. It has been a struggle the last 10 minutes of game time. We have gone cold shooting and haven’t been able to get Taylor many shots.

Our lead is 60-49 after 3 quarters. Madi, Ana and Skylar each with 12 points. Taylor held to 7 on only 5 shots.

7 minutes left OU up 67-51, Minnesota timeout. Washington with a good stretch of point guard play and she is up to 8 assists

Taylor gets hot in Q4 and ends up with 19 and OU wins 88-69. Ana with 17 Madi with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Skylar with 15. We outrebounded much taller Minnesota 51 to 31.

This team is improving with each game.

What can they do against Big 12 competition? We'll see, but I can see us being a Top 4 team (in conference).

Buffalo is a good MAC team and Minnesota is around the 7 or 8th best in the Big 10. So dominating both of them is a good sign. We have only 1 game in the next week and a half so we should be able to get in lots of practice to get ready for Mississippi St. and work on improving. Really pleased with our rebounding this tournament which I expected to be a problem again this year.

The early games were pretty ragged on both offense and defense but I am amazed at how we have competed at this level. And we just keep on improving.

Good progress by Washington but she could have done without that last turnover. She is very important to our growth and improvement.

And Vann has to be a strong candidate for the conference 6th player award. She was also a big part of our late season run last year.

Taylor getting open for a lot of shots. I haven't seen anyone trying to face guard her like a lot of conference foes have done in the past. Got to be ready for that. She does seem to get a number of open shots on fast breaks.

Really a fun team to watch.

I know its early but does most everyone believe that the team is a little better this year?
The flow of the offense looks better to me for sure..I haven't been able to watch all the games just going by what I seen so far.
