OU vs MSU

I'll never understand how officials call the girls games. It makes the games hard to watch sometimes.
I didn't get to watch the first half but the officiating that I saw in the second half was......strange. We saw lots of players, on both teams, with looks of complete confusion on their faces when the calls were made. It reminded me of some the officiating we used to see early in Sherry Coale's tenure.

Did it seem like to anyone else that Vann refused to pass to Chavez in transition a couple of times when she was open? I’m worried one or the other will transfer. I may just be reading too much too into things as well.

People always trying to look for some drama among the team. Like someone the other day said everyone was unhappy and looking to transfer out, give me a break! I'm very glad our girls got it together in the second half and found a way to win. It was not looking good with all those turnovers. Definitely need to clean that up if we want to even hang with USC in the sweet 16.... If we don't that could be one ugly loss to end those seniors careers 😞

I’m not looking for drama… I hope there isn’t any. I’d love for them to play together at OU the rest of their careers. Just worry they aren’t complimenting each other like they could on the court.

Surprised there is so little factual comment about the game which was a close one down to the wire. Realize this may be the ceiling for this squad but they do play an intertaining brand of basketball, a female version of Billy ball to some extent

If OU had been more consistent on their 3 ball, it would have been a double digit win.

Big thing that stood out to me was 21 assists for the team. Shared the basketball well. Had a lot of great moments where they locked in on defense.

Will say the officiating crew for NCAA games need to go to 4 refs and have a way to review baskets better. Probably the sloppiest officiating crew I've seen in a few years.

I’m not sure who was there and who was not, but it was a very tough matchup. Extremely physical game that didn’t get called the first half. Then they started making stupid calls. Michigan State is a good team. I might we played way too fast in the first half and that caused a lot of turnovers. Just throwing it and trying to hard to force it to a packed middle. I was never disappointed in this team tonight.

Anyone know if any girls we are recruiting were at the game? Vienna Murray was at a game earlier in the conference schedule. It was not one of our better games.

I really hope Chastain turns out to be a great player. Her 3 point shooting in travel ball appears to be elite and she was at one point one of the top 5 players in her class but she has since dropped.

She was injured. They tend to drop them when they get hurt for some reason.
