OU vs Purdue

Gioya's stats were not impressive but stats don't tell the story, did she have a good game? Only channel I could access was the one with Maryland and Ione.

She did some good things. But, she was barely noticed. This was really about Peyton, Maddie, Vivi, and, to some extent, Kay Kay. They were at the center of most of the action.

We shot better than almost anytime this season, played hard nose defense inside and out, had too many turnovers, and had better timing and confidence. And we advance.
This is the only win I anticipated in the tourney; playing Kentucky in Lexington next, but if we play this well we got a good shot at winning, and making the sweet 16 for a pretty successful season. (And of course a chance to win again).

Great win. Nice to see the great start and and the great shooting game by Peyton.
Onwards.

We need a good point guard. Too many unforced turnovers, hard to watch. Good win today, better than losing like osu did yesterday

Great win! Survive and advance. Playing Kentucky will be tough on Monday, but it isn't impossible to win.

Boomer! If the guys stay loose, confident and tough we can go a long way.

Please take this comment in the way it is meant. I was at a relative's and they have new tv service in the metro okc area. I do not know if it is AT&T or Direct Tv but the first 40 minutes or so I was able to try to see the game, all I saw was Maryland and Ione. Thus, I may be missing something. However, it seems we had three players play well with Kay Kay doing okay. This I get from the comments and stats. So, my question is (and only trying to understand your point and similar points may have been made in the thread), do you believe with three players having good games and one kind of a good game, that we are confident and tough and can go far? It only gets tougher and I do not see us doing it without the at least two other players stepping up. Doesn't mean I am correct, I am just trying to understand your viewpoint. I was really excited about seeing the game yesterday and it did not happen, so a really bad day of dealing with other life issues caused me to miss what would have been a highlight for my daylight. Thus I am just trying to get a clear picture of what others saw. If anyone has an answer and wants to reply, that would be great; however, realize there are more important issues than addressing my question about the team.
Anyway, looking forward to Kentucky.

Larry Bird could jump over only skinny mice. Hope ViVi keeps developing all her skills.
Neither could Caton Hill but she was able to get rebounds. The thing I see about Vivi is that she is continually improving. This is a person who only played 4 years of high school ball, not sure if she played any aau, haven't looked to see. If someone lets her know she needs to improve her vertical jump, I believe she will. That is something that with the right exercise and practice can be improved upon. Plus, she is able to rebound and get blocks now without this skill, so she does other things to be able play the way she plays. I have never seen a player at OU with so little experience improve so quickly and continue to improve. From interviews, she is smart, aware, and her head is in the right place. I have high hopes for her. Not coming down on you, just referencing what I see. I have really loved her attitude from day one at OU and followed her more closely than most players, which does not mean I am more informed. Just stating what I see. I really do not want my comments to become argumentative or negative. NOT saying, it doesn't happen but am trying. SO PEACE.

ViVi is very good but she could not jump over a mouse

Someone had to Find one negative thing to say about her, she had a Fab game... And will be our best player going in to next season.

Having Kay Kay to practice against (with) helped her a lot I'm sure. Vivi and Mulkey practicing against (with) each other may help both of them a lot.
