Agree; more turnovers were after crossing half court because we were not aggressive early. Been much better lately.

I think OU shoots better in the second half. They started handling the press a lot better later in the half. I see OU taking over in the second half


Duke lost today. Test is always nice. Shane ND had to win for Duke to lose.

7 turnovers each. Rebounding basically even. We have a 10 point edge on FT's, but I don't expect to shoot under 30% again in the 2nd half. I think we're going to be OK. Just need to hit some shots.

Wow....who'd have thought....being aggressive and not settling for jumpshots has paid off. Wide open jumpshots will be there as long we keep driving the ball. WV shooting just under 50%....that won't last. And we are shooting just under 30%....that won't last either. Buford really contributing today. All in all, thrilled to be tied with our lackluster performance in the middle of that half.

Huggins has to pressure because he doesn't think his teams can play a halfcourt game the entire time. You have a shortfall somewhere and that is the only way he can keep his teams in games. OU has shot themselves in the foot by making some terrible passes. Like someone said you have to attack the pressure and if you continue to do that, they will eventually back off or they will just get killed if they continue to do it.
I hope Cousins can get out of his slump in the 2nd half. He is due a huge game.

Four of their five starters have two fouls. Five others have one. OU needs to be aggressive and get to the bonus early. It makes it harder for them to be so aggressive on defense and should put some of their starters on the bench.

Cousins needs to penetrate and kick and Spangler has to hit some 3 pointers

Once they break the pressure this half they need to make that next pas or play. That is what really hurts the press. Go to the rim, if the defenders are there the three point line should be open.
