I appreciate it. It's been an interesting ride.
I'll be honest though. I just pay the bills and post a couple of links every day. Ada is the reason this thing is still standing with his willingness/patience to help moderate.
I'm sure he's slapped some of your hands over the past 7 years, but he is a good man with nothing but the best intentions.

Three cheers for both OUHoops and Ada! They combine to provide a great service for us Sooner basketball fans, and I'm another who would be glad to chip in what I can to help cover any expenses incurred in updating the site.

Wow! I'm humbled and extremely grateful for the outpouring of affection and support expressed here.
The people on this board have been an important part of what I have done nearly every day since the site was launched in 2008. I have a perfectly normal life and a wonderful family. But, in a strange way that is hard to explain, my friends on this board have developed over time into a "family" I feel a special closeness to. If that was not the case, I would have been gone long ago. My good friend OUHoops also made it easier to hang around. He's the one who deserves all of the accolades.
I'll do my best to stay the course as an admin though the end of this season. Beyond that I have no plans to continue. To be honest, I'm ready to step aside and let someone else take over. Eight years plus is enough. I think it's time for this sometimes cranky old man to ride off into the sunset and join the more comfortable ranks of OUHoops posters.

Thanks for your effort to keep this going. Not sure where this board really originates, but reminds me of the "secret" board back in the late 90s when we'd even have on-line chats. I lived in KC at the time and it was my lifeline to OU hoops.
Love this site as well. Wish we didn't have some of the negativity during some of the frustrating periods this year, but take the good with the bad. And the good is you and Ada keeping this thing going and distracting me from work on a daily basis!
