Word is Pastner removed his name from consideration yesterday.

My brother said he read this on another board...not sure if he's on Hale or Murdock's board.

Yup. Not an official release or anything, but a good poster on there who is friends with Pastner said he withdrew his name.

I have heard him speak a couple times and saw him in coach in person. I think he would have been a good fit, but at the same time I think he is holding for the Arizona job.

That might be a long wait considering Zona's apparent resurgence under Miller.

Maybe Arizona State, but Sean Miller is going to be at Arizona for a LOOONNNGGGG time I think. Its a premier job, great school, great location, great tradition, etc. Why would he leave?

Did anybody see the way he shook hands with Barnes when Barnes was pleading for the refs to call a foul at the end of the game?

it looked like Miller wanted to shake hands really quick and get off the court before Barnes could win his case? I LOL'ed at that one.

Ha, I noticed that too and pointed it out to the wife - he was trying to get out of there.
