Not disagreeing with the above, but I thought Spangler played great defense against Ellis, holding him to 10 and 7. I kept thinking how much worse the deficit could've been if Ellis has come close to his performance in Lawrence.

Self has better players, better recruiter to a traditional basketball school. OU is overachieving with good players that have willed themselves to be better.

So you think Kruger would have won with current Kansas players vs Self with current OU players ????

Self know how to develop post players and guards. Kruger only know how to develop guards. I liked Kruger. He is a big upgrade over Capel, but my only complain is his development of post players. Maybe it is his personality. He is too nice and to play post you have to be physical and aggressive. I guess that's why he haven't been able to win a National Championship.

No. No to Manyang. And no to Buford at the 3 spot.

This team really needs Bolden next year. I worry about the inside game if we don't. A lot of question marks and inexperience.
