Osu hired brother of top 3 player in 2020 class Cade Cunningham.

Brother is great recruiter.

I think he’s been trending going to OSU even before this hire. Likele surprisingly, making the USA under 19 team will also help them with Cade Cunningham. Cunningham looks one and done to me.

He’s been on campus awhile.

Likele made it because Harmon didn’t tryout... (:

Wonder why we can get creative with hires like this. Never have, and I bet it will pay off for OSU.

Pretty crazy that a guy who many think could be the #1 overall pick in the NBA draft is likely going to Oklahoma State...

PG: Cade Cunningham
SG: Avery Anderson
SF: Marcus Watson
PF: ?
C: Yor Anei

Yikes... got yourself a ball club there.

If the brother was trying to leverage himself a job by making him and his brother a package deal, it looks like he could find a better school than OSU - if his brother is the real deal.

We got creative with that back in 1981 or 1982, but I'm aware many on here weren't even born then.

It looks to be a great move by the Pokes.

It sounded like we may have had the option of bringing the Porter family in. That's not the kind of nepotism hire we support around here, though.

Tubbs signed William Tisdale the year before Wayman and hired his high school coach, Mike Mims.

This stuff has been going on forever. We did it with Mims and the Tisdales. We did it with Terry Evans in trying to secure Shelden Williams. As nice a player as Taylor Griffin was, he wasn't good enough to warrant the full-court press as a freshman, but Kelvin read the tea leaves properly in regards to Griffin the Younger.

Boynton is proving to be pretty savvy. And he gets his guys to play really hard. I think they're going to be a problem in a year or two. Will be interesting to see if he sticks around. The Aggies like to have one of their own coaching their squads.

In closing, Tubbs would've hired Ed Manning too.

Tubbs should have hired him. The ncaa has shown over and over again this is OK. Why the hell do we just sit by and watch our rivals do it?

This seems pretty shady to me. What stops you paying whatever you desire to the older brother to secure younger brother's services. Why would this kid even consider the pokes unless they were hiring his brother- makes absolute zero sense. The older brother was "Associate Director of Video Operations" at Tulane to say that you hired him because of his experience is laughable at best. Just say what it is - we hired this guy to hopefully land his brother or more likely - we hired him with the promise the younger brother would commit at a later date so that they seemed to be "coincidental".

have not seen anyone that says he is going #1

Cade Cunningham had a great spring and recently made the under 19 USA team. When the new rankings come out many expect him to be the number 1 player in his class. He’s a special 6’7 point guard. Even though he’s playing out of Florida he’s from the Arlington area and I read that OSU was his first offer three years ago by Boyton. I expect they will get Cunningham and they already have a guard from Arkansas that’s really good. I think they will finish with Isiah Todd. Possibly no room for Thompson? Either way their head coach is constantly recruiting.

Hey at least the brother is actually involved with coaching. He has a resume.

He's not I don't know a truck driver.
