Porter MF Moser!!

I am more in the camp that Moser ain't the guy long term that will really get OU basketball back but we need to get the NIL to at least middle of the SEC levels before fixing the coach issues.

We should be bottom of the SEC if we are paying about bottom of the SEC money.
It’s a chicken or egg scenario. A really good coach could get some excitement brewing around the program and get the donors’ wallets opened up.

PM successor at Loyola, Valentine has a better winning percentage but not a top NCAA finish.
Plus just flashed on screen, Loyola looks to be a lock for a bid this year, 9-12. depending on how their season ends.
I'm not sure what ESPN was saying, but Loyola has a 0% chance of an at large bid this year. They finished 4th in a likely 1 bid league and need to win the A10 tournament to get in.

The SEC Network guys need to shut their yaps. That's unprofessional behavior on their parts. Unless they call out every team in every sport that has mediocre attendance, and I'm reasonably confident that's not the case. I've not been impressed with them in general.

And then leave for a more invested program/fanbase.

Even the sec network was dogging the ou fanbase last night. Truly embarrassing.
Does the sec network know we haven't made the tourney since before I was married? Heck, I hadn't even met my wife yet and now we have a 2 year old. She'll prolly play for ou before I see another tourney at this rate

We're dying to go back and pm is a blue balls machine

Same sky

there are credible reports that the auburn fans on the titanic supported the captain all the way to the bottom.
that's they way they roll
I’m an Auburn alum, the basketball program had comically little support before Pearl walked in the door. Giving the fans something to believe in brought them pouring in and then succeeding kept them there. OU fans haven’t been given anything to believe in for men’s bball in a long while and definitely have not had any recent success to keep them around

auburn fans are nuts....similar to a&m fans. they'll support anything even mildly successful

No arguments from me here re: the Auburn fanbase by and large. My point was that you've got to give a fanbase something to believe in and then back it up on the field/court to get and keep them invested. Auburn did that after being a perennial cellar dweller in basketball.

absolutely agree. ou fans showed signs the last couple of seasons of getting on board the moser train....then he swiftly killed that momentum with home losses.
also...even in good times..it wouldn't hurt ou fans to show a little more enthusiasm...like auburn/a&m fans.
