This is the year we needed Pritchard to be here.

I'm still taking that one a bit hard. I'll be disappointed if we don't get Young, but a) we would lose him to a blueblood program and b) he hasn't committed to us. Pritchard, on the other hand, reneged on a commitment to go instead to a program that is not at our level (though it was close to home for him).

I was pretty upset as well. I met him in Vegas before our game with Washington at In-N-Out Burger. Nice kid. Looked me right in the eye when we spoke.

But I got over it. Stomping a mudhole through them in the Elite 8 was the perfect last laugh.
