Preseason top 25

I think it is UConn, UConn, UConn, and then about forty teams. I still think that Notre Dame, even without a couple of stars, is almost can't miss for the Final Four, simply because I don't see anyone else that is.

South Carolina and Kentucky seem to be very good, until they get into the Elite Eight level. This might be a year that Texas could finally demonstrate that they know how to use talent. I really look for Duke and Tennessee to find a way to lose in the Sweet Sixteen or Elite Eight. Only UConn seems to find ways to win while others seem to find any way to lose.

I think we will be better because I don't think we will be playing to lose.

Sybarite,
As you said to me it looks fairly wide open other than Uconn.

Not sure the team needs any more motivation after last year, but Sherri's got a disrespect card to use now as well.

S. Carolina has made a huge jump in a short period of time. They have a monster class coming in this fall and it will be interesting to see how they play at this level. If Staley keeps recruiting like this, they will give Tenn. fits for years to come. The SEC is tough.
