I've read quite a bit about DFW Falling out on this board. Their club has a lot of great talent. Would anyone care to fill in why it could be bad for OU since Johnson is playing for them?

Without going into detail, the DFW staff got crossways with OU coaches a few years ago. Since then, our recruiting of DFW players has gone downhill.

The thinking is, their influence might cause Johnson to look at schools other than OU.

That would be ashame if in fact OU wants Johnson and Johnson is interested in OU. She is an in state kid and it would seem when it comes down to it most players want to play close to home. Kids like Cox who had the opportunity to play where she wanted ultimately choose Baylor over her other final 4 due to school being close to home.

Agendas here, agendas there, agendas everywhere.

All part of the club mess. I wish the NCAA would clean it up - which eventually is likely to happen. Fans and supporters of a team are not allowed to attempt to influence a recruit or potential recruit.

Think about the mess with Kim Mulkey. It was dirty enough to get BU penalized. When did this agenda with the DFW staff start?

Since the 16 class and Johnson landrum and Wilson have signed elsewhere I would say the big 2 left in the DFW program are Morris and Green. Morris is likely to go to Baylor but Zay Green is one of their top players that maybe Texas or Baylor have to pass on due to scholarships available. But again if that line is not open....

Heads up to you.....jonah Johnson is playing with DFW elite next summer. Can be good or it can be bad, just have to wait and see

One thing DFW Tjack knows well and that's their guards. I think It will be a good thing, but tough for OU to try and land her. DFW is always full of athleticism. Has anyone from their program gone to OU?

Norm, Sarah Sutton on the 2019 prospects list looks to be from the same high school as Morgan Rich.

Vivian Gray Argyle 6"1 2017 has interest from OU.

Another one over there is Chennedy Carter....they have a post player who's good also, her name is Micalea Wilson

Thanks! I like having the recruiting info written down otherwise I sometimes forget who all we have an interest in. I guess that's a sure sign of old age.
