Question about stats

What is a team rebound? Is it when the ball goes out of bounds off the other team following a shot and resulting in possession for the team that gets credited with a team rebound?

I asked this because I noticed that Northwestern State had an equal number of rebounds as OU (38-38) but had 8 team rebounds.
